ℹ The shared outdoor unit (condenser) is usually placed at ground level on a flat surface. If it needs to go higher, additional equipment may be needed.

Is there enough space around the outdoor unit?

ℹ The outdoor unit needs airflow to work efficiently. We need at least 1 metre of clear space in front of it.

What type of wall will each indoor unit go on?

ℹ An external wall faces outside. An internal wall separates two rooms inside your home. External walls are cheaper to install on.

How far apart will each indoor unit be from the outdoor unit?

ℹ The outdoor unit is shared — but each indoor unit may be a different distance away.
